Checked in to a dirty unit, cleaners were sent over but threw off the first few hours of our day. Would have liked to see better kitchen utensils and have some light bulbs replaced. Also, almost all smoke detectors had the backup batteries missing. A baby gate inclusion for the steps would also be nice. All the solar lights on the steps are broken and the 4x4 on the first landing is loose which is dangerous. All in all we were happy with the unit, but wanted to share the above as well.

Nearby Properties

This immaculate property is beautifully maintained and furnished.  It was custom designed and is a one-of-a-kind floor plan in Ocean City.  The master bedroom has an integral sitting room with a sleeper sofa, access to 2 private balconies, and a lot of closet and drawer space in addition to the full bath with large walk-in shower and double sinks.  This makes it an ideal suite for a family with small children or a quiet getaway room for grandparents.  One of the other three bedrooms also has access to a private balcony, perfect for enjoying morning coffee or evening sunsets.  The beautiful Great Room includes dining area that has a table & chairs for 8 people.  There is also additional eating space at an island with 6 stools.  The attractive kitchen comes complete with a wine refrigerator, pantry and GE appliances.  The Great Room seating area opens onto the ocean-facing main balcony, the largest of 3 balconies.  Although not shown in any of the photos, an awning was added last season that covers most of this balcony.  This creates a large outside space protected from both the sun & rain.  There is an interior stairwell with entrances from 55th Street and through the private garage.  This private garage is accessed from a double driveway off of the alley between West & Haven Avenues.

The location of this house is ideal.  Situated in the far south end of the island, it is equidistant to the shops and restaurants in both Ocean City and Sea Isle.  There is a deli/small grocery store (Boyars), seafood take-out (Mike's), ice cream shop (A La Mode), bait and beach gear (Seagull Shop), bakery (Mallon's), sandwich/pizza shop (Sack-O-Subs), coffee/breakfast/lunch takeout (Aneu) and non-denominational church all within a few steps of your door.  The guarded 55th Street beach is a short walk away.
