We had a wonderful time. The beds could have been more comfortable. There were many non-stick frying pans, several of which were scratched to the point where they should be thrown out. Not a single stainless steel frying pan. We ran the dishwasher a lot because there were only 8 dinner plates. The drain in the hall bath is slow. The AC units are located right below the back deck, and they're noisy. The door to the deck doesn't slide easily. Plenty of good stuff too: ceiling fans, no stairs in unit, nice floors, lockable storage, good layout, view, large dining table, good kitchen design (but painted counters!), good lighting, clean, attractive decor.

The new Owner is making changes yearly while increasing the costs. There are a few things that should be addressed. The toaster has been burning things for years and this year we encountered a problem withthe gas oven. Strong odor of gas

They replaced the dining room table with a surfboard type bar - not Geriatric or Family friendly. Extremely difficult to have meals together. Otherwise the newer Owners have been making upgrades which are clean & nice.

Very happy with Trish's work and overall we enjoyed our visit. The house was a great size and layout for our families and is more up to date than the photos suggest. Three frustrating issues however: 1) Garbage cans are in terrible shape and were ripped into nightly by the local fauna. 2) The house was impressively dirty on arrival. Every windowsill, baseboard, corner, etc. covered in dirt and dust. 3) There is a pervasive sewage smell that emanates from both toilets, though mostly the hall bathroom. It is not a tidal smell, nor is it the result of guest use. It is not pleasant.

The new Owner has been making improvements annually and We notice. She/They are doing a great job as the house is so much more comfortable and Family friendly. We have been renting for years and can't thank Cynthia enough for being available and/or meeting our vacation needs. She is terrific.
