We have been coming to Ocean 17 for 40 plus years.We chose to rent Unit 25 with our agent’s recommendation. On first view of the apartment,we were pleased but the bathroom and bedrooms were horrible. Bathroom - no where t o put ANYTHING . BEDOOMS - CLOSETS HORRIBLE, NO DRESSERS, NOT EVEN A HOOK FOR HEAVENS SAKE. WE EACH SLEPT WITH A SUITCASE ON OUR BED. IN ONE BEDROOM, THE SHADE WAS BROKEN, WHICH WAS FIXED ON OUR REQUEST BUT DID NOTHING TO DULL THE SPOTLIGHT GLARING IN THE WINDOW. BEDSIDE TABLE USELESS AND BEDSIDE LAMP DIDN’T WORK. WORSE ROOM EVER. COULDN'T WAIT TO LEAVE.

Loved the location of the condo! So nice to be so close to the beach. Unit was very clean, and the condo's management staff was extremely nice and welcoming. Wish the beds were queens or kings, but the bedrooms are too small to fit a bigger bed in so its understandable that there are only double beds in those rooms.

Property needs: Better curtain system in the southwest room. I can't stress this enough. There is an outdoor spotlight that is extra bright and shines in the window at night and keeps you awake. I provided this feedback 2 years ago. Please get a better curtain system!!
Also the bathroom drain needs to be snaked. If I owned this unit I would also replace the shower valve with a better system. It is very sticky, and the hot/cold adjustment does not really work well. I would also put in a medicine cabinet mirror to create better shelving instead of the glass shelf over the toilet (which is not really practical or sanitary).

Location was great, the pool was wonderful and staff we encountered were all friendly. The unit we rented was very clean and generally in good condition. A few things need to be upgraded, such as taped together plastic drinking cups and vertical blinds that were taped on and fell off when opened or closed. Overall the unit was nice.

Pros: beautifuly decorated, great furniture, nice bathroom, meticulously maintained heated pool. Enjoyed it. , outside shower, covered parking, boardwalk, cons: could use beach tags, parties renting before us trashed the place and forced cleaners to have a rough job.
