Description

This luxury Beachfront condo is located on the north side of the building directly overlooking the boardwalk and beach.  Breathtaking views of the ocean and spectacular sunrises.

 

The complex boasts a large sundeck, with ample tables, chairs, umbrellas and chaise lounges for guests.  The deck is just above the boardwalk.

 

When it's time to cool off, there's no need to make the trek down to the oceans edge.  You can take a dip in the Olympic size private pool, right next to the sundeck.  And if you really insist on feeling the sand between your toes, take a blanket and head for the Sindia Boardwalk Pavilion entrance to the beach area.  When beach time is finished for the day, there is an outside shower located by the lower stairs in the parking area.

 

This unit offers 2 bedrooms, one bathroom with full tub & shower, a full kitchen (complete with refrigerator, stove, garbage disposal, dishwasher & microwave).The nice-sized living room is inviting and airy with a ceiling fan, two large picture windows providing vista views over a wide expanse of beach and ocean.  Keep cool with saltwater breezes through open windows, or keep them closed and enjoy the central air.  Either way, the views are spectacular!

 

The condo is tastefully decorated and is conveniently located on the boardwalk just a few blocks removed from the hustle & bustle of the crowds at the start of the boardwalk at 14th St.

I love Ocean 17 condos. The only reason I might not rent there again is the units are very expensive. I realize it's on the boardwalk and has a pool, but there are cheaper options for other places.

The condo we rented had a light out in the main room. The owner didn’t promptly reply to our agent, so we didn’t have light in that room for 2 days. Turns out the bulb was a custom order, but our agent, George Cash, tracked down a bulb and personally came and installed it. He went above and beyond to ensure we had light. We can’t thank him enough and truly appreciate the extra effort.

Beds were really uncomfortable and dresser drawers were falling apart. Vertical blinds in the 2nd bedroom were broken. Aside from blocking the light, it is a first floor window so working shades for privacy/security are a must. Horizontal blinds make more sense and look better.

The drawer I the fridge did not keep anything cold I wish the unit had a full size one. I wish there were some instructions for the garbage disposals and that the process for picking up our beach badges was clear. We had to wait until Sunday to get them and then the office opened 10 minutes late.

The only thing that I found to be subpar is that the unit needed to be cleaned better once we walked through the door. We also wished the pool was opened longer into the evening. Otherwise a fantastic vacation spot.

Nearby Properties

Lovely 1st level coastal condo.  The beachfront facility features a 28" x 44" heated pool with a large sundeck area (1st level) including patio tables, chairs and lounges overlooking the beach and ocean.  The covered ground level has a reserved parking space and an enclosed, individual storage area for bikes, beach chairs and other belongings.  (We recommend bringing a padlock for the individual storage space).  This property has easy access to OC's 2.5 mile boardwalk and is walking distance to the downtown shops, restaurants, fitness center, library, historical museum and much more. 

 

The interior of the condo includes a living area with comfortable furniture, a 50" TV, a large banquette for family dinners & game playing, along side of a fully equipped kitchen & pantry.  There's a bathroom with a step-in bath tub, shower and grab bars.  One bedroom has a queen bed and a 42" TV.  The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom & a single bed on top.

 

Whether you're watching the sunrise in the morning, moon gazing at night, or visualizing the 1901 Sindia shipwreck in the sand, you'll find this condo a vacation favorite.
