For the most part, unit was as expected with the exception of the bedroom. The mattress was absolutely horrible, and I ended up sleeping crunched up on the loveseat for the week. Additionally, while we brought our own sheets, there was no mattress cover (other than a plastic liner), no blanket or bedspread, and no pillows. We had to go out and purchase mattress pad, blanket and pillows on arrival which was not an anticipated or reasonable expense.

We are sorry you did not like the mattress - we have never had this complaint before, since it is a new mattress and highly rated. Unfortunately, per the lease, there was to be no linens provided. This was explicitly stated in the lease. However, had we known of your displeasure, we would have tried to help out in some way if we could. We want all of our guests to feel comfortable in our home.

Rod did a good job. He called a few days before the trip to tell us how to check in, then he called day of arrival to make sure all was OK.
