Living and Dining

Beach Bird features large, welcoming common areas rarely found in newer or multi unit rentals. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen opens to generous dining and living spaces, making it easy to prepare family meals, host group dinners, or unwind together after a full day at the beach. The home reflects a grand style of construction no longer seen today, adding warmth and character throughout. Additional dining chairs are provided with the rental.

Outdoor Areas

Multiple outdoor spaces are designed for relaxing and reconnecting. Enjoy slow mornings and evening conversations on the large front porch, or gather in the English garden and outdoor dining area.

For beach day convenience, the property includes three outdoor showers, with enclosed rinse and dressing areas to make cleanup easy for large groups.

Accessibility and Amenities

A first floor bedroom and full bathroom help minimize stairs for guests who prefer fewer steps. As a historic home, stairs are required to access all levels, and the home proudly retains its original charm and character.

The Carriage House is a classic design with contemporary features. There is a living room, kitchen, dining area and powder room on the first floor. The French doors in the living room open up to a covered porch for outside dining and relaxing. There are three bedrooms and 2 baths on the second floor with cathedral ceilings. The master suite features a queen bed, full bath, private deck and fireplace. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have 2 twin beds and share the second bath. The furniture is traditional with antique accents. The charm, privacy and setting of the Carriage House make it a lovely home for a family holiday.

The Courtyard Carriage House is a lovely two story, single family home nestled beside beautiful century old holly trees. It is one block from the beach and boardwalk. The Courtyard Carriage House is a classic design with contemporary features. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen and powder room on the first floor. The French doors in the dining room open to a secluded rick courtyard. The plants and flowers in large pots add a European flavor to this unique space. There are two tables and chairs for outside dining and relaxing. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on the second floor with cathedral ceilings. The master suite features a queen bed, full bath and an entertainment center. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms each have two twin beds. These two rooms share the 2nd full bath.
