Only hiccup is, the hose hookup outside on deck is inoperable. When facing house from boardwalk, it’s on the left hand side of house on wall near corner of property.

Very pleased with our rental. At present I am not sure about 2020 but hoping we are able to rent again next year. If we do we will use Berger.

Ant issue was not resolved as well as owner would not turn on water out front to wash feet. Problems in past with public usage but inconvenient for us.

The kitchen could have been cleaner - we had to wipe down cabinet faces. And inside cabinets were a mess as well. Kitchen appliances need to be replaced - the washer is a hazard with the bottom piece sticking out.
Other than the kitchen, the place was nice.
Would have like to have a call back regarding a blender...I've stayed in many places over 50 years in OC..1st time I had no response and/or satisfaction in our 'minor' request.

Wish property had an exterior hose to wash off sand. Garage shower was not pleasant and inconvenient. Ideally, the porch would have been larger.

We loved the location of our rental at 1748 Boardwalk and already have a deposit in place for next season.
If you have any contact with the owner, there are a few things that would greatly improve the rental experience: clean carpets, paint over large brown stain on LR ceiling, repair screen in sliding door (bugs!). The mattresses and box springs (especially the two double size) are really in bad shape with torn mattress pads and tears in the box springs.
A few minor repairs/replacements would make this place so much nicer.

1748 Boardwalk was a lovely spacious property, the beds were comfortable, bathrooms worked well and it had a terrific view . Plus, the extra beach chairs, etc., were a surprise. However, the unit needed the living room ceiling painted and the sliding door fixed. The kitchen cabinets could use some paint. The kitchen cooking utensils and serving dishes were barely adequate. One burner on the store top worked poorly (front right). The shower in the garage was only good for washing feet. It is tiny and lacks a shelf and hooks. The front door keys worked on the dead bolt lock but were difficult opening the door handle. These are minor points, but the owner may want to consider them.
