Updated front rooms and big table was nice. Kitchen needs newer pots and pans, especially medium.
Two bedrooms’ light switches didn’t work … or lights didn’t. Pillows were old and flat. Some bedrooms need a sprucing up such as paint, bedding and rugs.
Outdoor furniture is rusty. Shower was okay and convenient.

The best feature of the property is the large porch. Unfortunately the inside of the house was very dirty. The property definitely needs a deep clean. Looks like it is swept and dusted before tenants arrive but there is mold areas in bathroom, vents are filled with dust , the washer/dryer area is littered with lint, etc. The front porch steps also need to be fixed. Going up is not too bad but coming down the second & third steps are bowed and unstable. Outlet in living room also was missing an outlet cover.
Other than the cleanliness and the front steps the place is great and in a great location.

Great property. All the amenities families could need for a week at the shore. Living room was spacious and comfortable. The front our porch was fantastic— spacious, great furniture for hanging out, eating, playing games. 2.5 baths was a real plus, especially when you add in the great outdoor post-beach shower. Garage space could fit a car + lots of beach supplies. The host also provides lots of useful beach supplies. Her only non-positive issue with our say was that the shower and toilets clogged and the plumber was not sent out for 2 1/2 days. And otherwise this is a great place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

We have stayed at 1328 Central for 14 years, 15 if you count 2012 when it was doubled-booked and our agent had to find us another place. We love the location and we love the unit. The recent owners have made great improvements each year. Our daughters are hoping that more new mattresses are on the list for next year and a little more space in the closets. We consider it our Ocean City home

Peter, while a little eccentric!, was very kind and quickly brought us a new microwave when the one in the house broke.
2 houses we rented were great and except some minor things like things needing to be replaced, especially during the pandemic. Bed pillows were flimsy and dirty and we had to buy our own. Mattress covers, quilts etc should be cleaned and replaced more regularly

We thought that the unit hadn't been cleaned thoroughly by the previous renters. Hopefully, we did a better job. We could have used a regular broom.
The new owners made a lot of improvements since last year (painting, pictures, bathroom rugs, porch furniture, securing outside faucet). However, we did find that even the first few to return from the beach didn't have very hot water for a shower. Also, it was hard to shower with the new, larger shower head. Water didn't project very far. We missed having directions about recycling and trash on the frig. We figured out the days using Berger's check-in envelope, but didn't realize that the containers needed to be moved closer to the alley and It was impossible to move the wooden rack, so we missed the Tues. pick up. I am concerned about all the sand and lint that accumulates in the dryer. I often clean it out soon after we arrive, but there was no screw driver to remove the lint tray holder. We plan to bring more hangers next time. Do the current owners own upstairs, too? The kids up there were quite active!
We have been staying in this unit since 2006 (except the year the owner double booked) and we think of it as 'our place at Ocean City.' We're glad the new owners care about it, too. We look forward to returning next year.

We love our time in OCNJ each summer. We've been in the same property for the past 10 years (except the year our former owner double booked) and it's always nice when we discover some new decoration or improvement. Our new realtor was especially helpful when we thought we might want to find a bigger place. We weighed our options and decided to stay at 1328 Central... where it feels like our home away from home.
