We had some real concerns regarding a wall that was patched with a pizza box, and behind the pizza box was black mold. This was a $6000+ beach front rental. We did not expect super modern or updated, but this was not acceptable. Notified realtor with pictures on check in. No one contacted us until Thursday, after multiple texts to realtor, and contact was only b/c there had been a storm. Owner came by house on Thursday due to trop storm Isaias. He claims he never heard from realtor. Someone dropped the ball-- realtor or owner, I don't know. I do know that both received full rent and commission and we paid for a house that I don't think could have been rented if the mold was shown. I have pictures as does the realtor. I think we should have been given a reduction on our rate. At the same time we let them know that 2 of 4 tv's were not working, again-- no contact until Thursday and no resolution (offered to send Verizon on Friday). Beach tags missing as well. This would have been an very easy fix-- drop them at the house or tell us to pick them up from realtor. Please contact at karinkilroy@verizon.net
