My years of being a legal secretary have been a great asset for me entering the real estate field, using my computer experience, telephone skills, typing and general secretarial skills. The experience I gained in owning my own store is vital to real estate in having personal contact with people, completing sales, working with figures, bookkeeping, taxes, etc.
I grew up in Northeast Philadelphia, married and later moved to Huntingdon Valley, PA. In 1990, I moved to Somers Point after having been a legal secretary in Philadelphia for twenty years. In May of 1991, I opened Apple A Peel, a cute little country store, selling candles, cards, dried flowers, handmade arrangements, dolls, small furniture and home decorations.
I am the mother of three children, two girls, Susan and Karyn, and a boy, Glenn. I have five grandchildren, three boys (two of whom are twins) and two girls. I have been truly blessed in my life.
While recuperating from a total knee replacement in the summer of 1996, I attended Real Estate School and became a real estate agent, beginning my career with Century 21 C.A. McCann & Sons, Inc. In Sea Isle City, NJ. In March of 2001, I joined my present team, at Berger Realty. Berger has four offices, 3 of which are in Ocean City, one on the mainland in Marmora.
I look forward to meeting many new people and assisting them with all of their real estate needs. Call Carole for all your real estate needs in the Cape May County and Atlantic County areas.
